Online and At-Line Microbial Monitoring Systems 

Real-time microbial monitoring

Sentinel develops real-time and near-real-time systems to monitor the effectiveness of microbial control within purification and manufacturing processes including:

  • MOBA, a multivariate Online Bioburden Monitor with single-cell sensitivity and the ability to accurately discriminate between target microorganisms and other interfering materials commonly found in water and production systems
  • ASP, an aseptic auto-sampler specifically designed to automatically collect random excursion samples identified by online monitoring systems as well as routinely scheduled samples as desired
  • OES, an Online Endotoxin System that automatically samples and processes up to ten endotoxin tests without user intervention.  Designed for online use in ultra pure water and drug manufacturing systems.  
  • Fountain Flow Cytometry (FFC), a near-real-time system for quantifying total bioburden in 15 - 30 minutes At-line or in the lab.  Fountain Flow merges conventional flow cytometry and video epifluorescence microscopy.  The method is based on LED-induced fluorescence of labeled cells or particles and requires no filtration step
